A Russian rectangular shaped silver kovsh. The kovsh is adorned with a rising prow and sides repousse, chased with scrollwork and foliage patterns. The ware is encrusted with nine cabochon stones and adorned with a figural handle made in the shape of an Imperial double head eagle. A gilt wash interior. Marked with a standard 84 Silver hallmark, and other Assay marks, on the side and on the bottom. Completed with an original paper sheet of Aspre
