You could say that absolutely everything she sees touches her soul, which is why her range of subjects is so wide and her plastic (artistic) means are so varied. Moreover, in each case she strives to vividly reflect the character of the subject, its uniqueness. She understands perfectly that each case requires finding its own expressive language, always different from her previous discoveries, and thus she is constantly in search, attentively peering into the surrounding world. In it, she sees an endless multitude of sources for creativity. Among the multitude of sculptural techniques she has mastered, Tatyana Savvateeva feels the most confident and subtle in the “modelled” form, finding possibilities in it to express both quick observation and prolonged study of nature, as well as her own authorial intonation and tempo-rhythms of work: sharp cuts with a modeling tool, work with the palm, with fingers. ---
