Signed, marked by the master George Schmidt (active since approximately 1703). Weight approximately 345 g. Height 7 cm. 13 cm x 10 cm. Compare with Neuhauß/Schmidberger/Richter, Kasseler Silver, BZ 3, MZ 69. A rare heavy German Baroque silver sugar box by George Schmidt (active since approximately 1703). Assay and master's mark.
