Silver. Oval shape with smooth mirror. Filigree pierced gallery rim in the form of curved tendrils with delicate, reliefed, three-lobed clover leaves and multiply profiled, narrow lip rim. On the sides, two symmetrically curved handle recesses. Signed, assay mark, master Georg Christian Friedrich Tem(m)ler (became master in 1796). Weight approx. 1600 g. Height 7.5 cm. 42 cm x 30 cm. Compare with Selig, 2007, BZ 2890 f., No. 2638. A German Empire silver gallery tray by Georg Christian Friedrich Tem(m)ler (master since 1796). Assay and maker's mark. German. Augsburg. 1805 - 1806.
