Karlheinz Sauer is driven by a love of craftsmanship and a desire to utilize silver. Over the years, he has created many different pitchers and candlesticks for everyday use and celebrations. Karlheinz Sauer has also crafted a significant amount of sacred silver for almost all the churches in the city of Västerås and the surrounding area, as well as for many other churches throughout the country.
Karlheinz Sauer (b. 1943) resides and works in Mörbylånga, Sweden. He attended Pforzheim Goldsmith School and Pforzheim School of Art and Design. Sauer's work is represented in collections such as the National Museum in Stockholm, the Röhsska Museum in Gothenburg, and the Västerås Art Museum.
